Caring for your kokedamas
The Kokedama has Japanese origin & is the art of suspending an ornamental plant in a mud ball and covering it with green moss & twine.

Kokedama’s make a great indoor plant, and can be a distinctive display piece in your home. Offering up a dose of green to your space, they are the perfect little accent gift.

With the current trends towards sustainable living, it’s not surprising that these little beauties are making a come back in recent years.

I’m often asked how to water these babies. The truth is, caring for your kokedama doesn’t have to be difficultat all.

Follow these simple steps to help give your kokedama a healthy, long life.

1. Place your kokedama in water, plant side up.

2. Push the coconut ball down so that it is fully submerged and begins to absorb water.

3. Allow to soak for 10-25 minutes, or until fully saturated with water.

4. Remove the kokedama from the water, and gently squeeze the coconut ball to allow excess water to drain.
