Mother’s Day is the one time of year where we can all truly show our appreciation to the Women who raised us. From breakfast in bed to a bouquet of flowers, spoiling our mums is the best part of Mother’s day, for them and for us.

All the most important events in your life are filled with flowers. From happy occasions like birthdays and weddings, to more sombre times like funerals; they are all decorated with flowers. Flowers are such an integral part of decorating that it’s difficult to picture any of these events without them. It’s harder to imagine organising them without your local florist.

Valentines day is a celebration of love, of romance and the important, personal relationships we’ve formed. We give gifts to show our affections, and there are few gifts that represent our feelings as well as flowers.

What makes a house a home? A house is just a building, but a home is so much more. A home is a sanctuary, an island of comfort and relaxation in the turbulent seas of life. To transform any dull room into an idyllic oasis, consider adding flowers to truly achieve that homely feeling.

Many of us have fond memories of Christmas, reuniting with our friends and family, sharing presents and delicious food, creating loving memories that last a life time. It is one of the most wholesome times of the year, and it is always worth making it that much better.

Many of us tend to only use flowers for special occasions; weddings, funerals, birthdays and the like. But flowers aren’t just for decoration, they can have a siginificant and positive impact on your wellbeing.

For me it is always an honour when a bride trusts me with their wedding florals. My best friend Lisa not only trusted me with her flowers but asked me to be a part of her wedding in the bridal party.

On a winters night in June we held a workshop where we created gorgeous hat boxes filled with floral goodness.
